Friends of Glen and Karen Henry:

My name is John Flynn. I have been privileged and honored to become a close friend of the Henry family over the course of the last twenty (20) years, ever since I came to know Lori at the University of Iowa. My friendship with the Henry clan has grown stronger over the years as my wife, Jennifer, and I have enjoyed the opportunity to spend time with Glen, Karen and the entire Henry family during the many occasions when they find themselves dodging the snow and ice for the warmer climate. They love to spend time with their kids and grandkids.

I was completely shocked when I learned about the accident involving Glen and Karen in late July. We have all questioned how this could happen to such a great couple. These are people who are genuine and have had a significant and positive influence on so many others over the course of their lives. Fortunately, progress has been made with their recovery and everyone is hopeful about the future. However, the reality is that the recovery process and adaptation will consume a great deal of time and available financial resources over the months and years to come.

With this in mind, I have examined Glen's insurance and the necessary related services. It is clear that the resources necessary to ensure Glen is provided appropriate quality care, as well as the opportunity for a positive comeback, will be significant. After reading so many of the cards, letters and thoughts (via the website www.glenhenry.com), I recognized that many of us “feel helpless” and question what we can do to contribute. Knowing the Henrys will never ask for help, I have taken it upon myself to establish a Medical Trust Fund in which contributions can be made to help defray out-of-pocket costs.

This Medical Trust Fund can serve as an excellent tool to make a meaningful difference in the care and rehabilitation provided to Glen over the next several months and years. I know from extensive conversations with the family, the most important thing is to give Glen the best possible chance at a full recovery. I would therefore urge you to consider using the Trust as a way to help ensure this process. The specific address for the Trust is posted on the website and is set forth below as follows:

Glen Henry Medical Trust Fund
c/o UNI Credit Union
802 W. 29th Street
Cedar Falls, Iowa 50613

Your cards, letters, telephone calls, visits, e-mails and prayers have made an enormous difference in Glen and Karen's ability to cope with this devastating accident. Thank you for your consideration and please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about the operation of the Trust.

Very truly yours,
TIFFANY & BOSCO, P.A.
