Update 11
Good Evening,

I write to you tonight to update you on Dad and say I'm sorry its been so long. I'm busy with Dad and trying, in between time, to get on the website through passwords, hospital internet providers "time outs" etc... lets just say my frustration level is at an all time high.

This will be short and sweet as I am headed back to Arizona tomorrow and my mother's sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Lee, as well as Lisa are due to arrive.

Progression has been slowed down, but we've accomplished some huge milestones; breathing on his own, consuming "real people" food with assistance (we snuck in a snickers bar tonight). We are so thankful he'll be able to taste all the wonderful food we all take for granted. He continues to work hard at building back the strength he lost in his shoulders and they are confident he'll be able to do some things with his arms if he gets that back. He doesn't have much feeling beyond that, but we are very early in the game and we all know things can change in the 2nd, let alone the 4th quarter. We ask you to continue to pray for his arms to have recovery and for his mind to find peace and some sort of understanding regarding this situation. We are still working on the sleep issue, don't quite have that down yet.

Once I arrive back in Arizona I will post another update giving you "a day in the life of Bullet". I have snapped a few pictures to share with everyone, I will post those as well.

Thank you for all your thoughts and messages through the website. We wheel Dad into the computer room everyday and so he can read through them. We laugh and we cry! They are instrumental in keeping his spirit alive. Keep them coming!

Again, thank you for all your prayers, love, support and kind words. Our Dad is loved!!!

The Dream Team
